Etymological Study of the Lexeme 'Dosada' in the Context of Indo-European Parallels

This article offers an in-depth etymological analysis of the Russian word "<b>досада</b>" (dosada), moving beyond conventional interpretations. The author proposes a hypothesis suggesting a close link between "dosada" and Anglo-Saxon roots, specifically the English word "<b>sad</b>." This connection is supported by comparative linguistic analysis and historical parallels. Special attention is paid to defining "dosada" as a state of <b>vexation</b> and <b>disappointment</b>, distinct from the meaning of "to annoy" or "to bother".
