Using a Zeiss LSM880 inverted microscope with a Plan-Apochromat 63x/1.4 oil immersion objective, confocal images of the micropattern were acquired, with an effective pixel size of 44 nm. Excitation was provided by a 405 nm laser and the range of the collected fluorescence range was 420-480 nm. For the Airyscan detector, the same settings as in confocal imaging were applied for data collection. An optical filter BP 420-480 + LP 605 was used and image processing was done through the Airyscan algorithm (Zen Black, AIMApplication version 14.0.22.201) with a value of 6 for the 'strength' parameter.
