全球海洋温盐现场观测数据集

1940-2021年全球海洋温盐数据库是由中国科学院海洋大科学研究中心（海洋研究所和大气物理研究所牵头）构建的全球海洋现场观测数据库。数据库搜集了自1940年以来的包括XBT、CTD、Argo、Glider、浮标等11种仪器类型观测到大量全球海洋温度观测数据。数据集使用了自主研发的中国科学院海洋数据中心质量控制系统（CODC-QC）对原始现场观测数据进行了系统性质量控制，并对历史海洋数据中的系统性偏差进行了订正，包括XBT、MBT、Bottle等，极大地提升了数据的准确性。总数据量温度数据1680万条、盐度数据990万条。

The 1940–2021 Global Ocean Temperature and Salinity Database is a global in-situ marine observation dataset developed by the CAS Center for Ocean Mega-Science, which is co-led by the Institute of Oceanology and the Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It has compiled a vast amount of global marine temperature observational data from 11 types of in-situ instruments since 1940, including XBT, CTD, Argo, Glider, buoys and other instrument categories. The dataset utilized the independently developed CAS Ocean Data Center Quality Control System (CODC-QC) to conduct systematic quality control on the original in-situ observational data, and corrected systematic biases in historical marine data such as XBT, MBT, Bottle and others, which significantly improved the overall accuracy of the dataset. In total, the dataset contains 16.8 million temperature records and 9.9 million salinity records.
