This dataset contains all data, code and georeferenced coordinates used in the analyses for the article “The wildlife–vehicle collision is also a threat to biodiversity in urban environments”. The repository includes raw coordinates for roadkill observations, route tracing geometry, statistical outputs, and R scripts used to generate all figures and analyses. The dataset is organized as follows: 1. basic_data.xlsx Contains the main dataset used to summarize wildlife–vehicle collisions, including dates, taxonomic group, location, and classification used in statistical analyses. 2. Siriema_coordinates/ Contains the coordinate files used in SIRIEMA analyses: - all_coordinates.txt - amphibian_coordinates.txt - bird_coordinates.txt - mammal_coordinates.txt - reptile_coordinates.txt - route_tracing_coordinates.txt 3. R/ Contains all scripts and statistical outputs: - R scripts used in the analysis and figure generation - fatality_rate_boxplots_per_kmday.xlsx - Hotspots_Statistics/: TXT files for All, Amphibians, Birds and Mammals - 2D_Ripleys_K_Statistics/: TXT files for All, Amphibians, Birds, Reptiles and Mammals Sensitive species do not occur in this dataset, and no coordinate masking was required. All files are provided to ensure transparency, full reproducibility, and reusability of the analyses.
