资源简介:
Dr. Khayat et al. used hyperspectral observations returned from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter's (MRO) Compact Reconnaissance Imaging Spectrometer for Mars (CRISM) to provide the first high-spatial resolution (~ 160 m) retrievals of water vapor over the north polar region (latitudes > 75 °N). The data results extend between MY 28, Ls = 113° (September 29, 2006) and MY 31, Ls = 115° (May 21, 2012). The data here accompany the manuscript "Tracking the Non-uniformity in Atmospheric Water Vapor Over the North Polar Layered Deposits on Mars Using High-Resolution Observations by MRO/CRISM" by Alain SJ. Khayat, Michael D. Smith, and Scott D. Guzewich, accepted by the Journal Icarus. The file "CRISM_water_vapor_high_res.dat“ is an ASCII table of the CRISM climatology of water vapor. It includes the following information: West longitude, latitude, MOLA elevation (km), season (Ls), and the water vapor's total integrated-column abundance in precipitable microns, using the water vapor band centered around 1350 nm.
