Experimental data for the manuscript "Interactions of ultra-fine polystyrene nanoparticles with lung surfactant monolayers and bilayers: A combined molecular dynamics and experimental study" The data originate from Langmuir trough measurments of surface pressure and adsorption isotherms,and from generalized polarization measurments for a pulmonary surfactant model in the presence of polystyrene nanoparticles. Furtnermore, high resolution images from the combined Brewster angle & fluorescence microscopy (BAM/FM) are included.
