资源简介:
Removable partial denture (RPD) can restore oral function for patient with dentition defect, but its wearing may change the oral microenvironment and form potential risk sites for plaque colonization, which may lead to local or systemic diseases. In this study, the third-generation full-length 16S rRNA gene sequencing technology based on PacBio combined with longitudinal sampling design was used to systematically analyze the microbial community composition and spatial and temporal dynamic changes of natural teeth and denture plaque in 10 elderly patients after wearing RPD.
