资源简介:
Oxygenic photogranules (OPGs) are biological aggregates primarily composed of cyanobacteria, eukaryotic algae, and heterotrophic bacteria interacting syntrophically. Recognized for their potential in wastewater treatment, OPGs cultivated in sequencing batch reactors are subjected to frequent fluctuations in light and carbon availability, potentially impacting their metabolic activity, syntrophic relationships and depuration abilities. However, the metabolic responses of OPGs to such environmental changes and their consequences on community function and interactions, remain poorly understood. Here the purpose of the project was to identify how OPG community structure and functions evolve when subjected to changes in carbon (acetate) and light and whether these environmental changes exert lasting effects.
