RNA-seq data of 10 different organs in 5th-Day3 instar larvae of Nichi01

To obtain hints for gene prediction of our constructed Nichi01 genome assembly, we sampled 10 different organs from 5th-Day3 instar larvae and performed RNA-seq on them. The predicted transcriptome data obtained from them was integrated with ab initio prediction, and finally 18,397 coding genes were predicted in the Nichi01 assembly. The BUSCO (Benchmarking Universal Single-Copy Orthologues) score of the gene sets was 96.84%, suggesting the set had an acceptable quality for further analysis. 14,277 of the predicted genes were assigned functional domain information by InterProScan, and 8766 of those were annotated with GO categories.
