Rapid plasma clearance of orally administered flubendazole and slow flubendazole release with constant plasma levels of subcutaneously administered flubendazole.

Shown are the highest observed flubendazole plasma concentration (Cmax), the time point of the highest observed flubendazole plasma concentration (tmax), the area under the curve (total drug exposure in blood plasma against time, AUC0-24h), the AUC ratio of the hydrolyzed flubendazole to flubendazole (H-FBZ/FBZ) and the reduced flubendazole to flubendazole (R-FBZ/FBZ) of the different treatment groups. Data was obtained using a sparse sampling approach with 3–4 animals per group and time point.
