Whole-Genome Sequencing of Fusarium oxysporum Isolated from Tobacco

This report presents the whole-genome sequence of Fusarium oxysporum , a globally distributed soil-borne pathogenic fungus with a broad host range that causes various plant diseases. Genomic scanning and analysis revealed a total genome size of 51,143,096 bp, comprising 1,153 scaffolds and predicting 17,272 coding genes, including genes for carbohydrate-active enzymes, cytochrome P450, virulence factors, and resistance genes. This genome provides an important reference for future research on the prevention and control of diseases caused by F. oxysporum.
