Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease characterized by immune dysregulation and multi-organ damage. Abnormal B cell activation and autoantibody production are central to its pathogenesis; however, the proportion, BCR pairing patterns, clonal evolution, and transcriptional profile of dual-BCR B cells in SLE remain incompletely understood. In this study, we employed single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) combined with single-cell BCR repertoire sequencing (scBCR-seq) to systematically investigate the biological characteristics of dual-BCR B cells in two SLE mouse models (MRL/lpr and SLE.Yaa) and in peripheral blood from SLE patients.
