IDENTIFICATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF PATHOGENESIS RELATED GENE FOR PHOMOPSIS BLIGHT IN BRINGAL

RNA Seq. of brinjal under biotic stress by Phomopsis vexans will help in the Identification of pathogen related gene(s) and elucidation of molecular pathways involved in resistance of Phomopsis blight. It can provide clues about the genes involved in the resistance and their over expression may be exploited in the sensitive cultivars to combat Phomopsis blight disease. Identification of novel regulators such as lncRNA(s) may give better insight towards resistance in brinjal towards Phomopsis blight.
