Data for: "Effect of Glycine on Aggregation of Citrate-functionalised Gold Nanoparticles and SERS Measurements"

Raw data for the paper is available as a zip file. Within this file, the main folders contain information about the different samples (namely gold nanoparticle (AuNP) suspensions, glycine aqueous solutions, AuNPs in glycine aqueous solution, and AuNPs in sodium chloride aqueous solution) at different concentrations and different pH values. The different samples were analysed by UV-Vis, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and Surface Enhancement Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) or Raman. The files are organised first by sample type. AuNPs Contains data of the gold nanoparticle suspensions at a concentration of 3.1x10-11 M. The subdirectory structure is as follows: • pH_XX o UV-Vis o DLS o SERS The SERS and UV-Vis directories have spectra for a series of acquisition times (Y min). The UV-Vis data for samples is available as raw spectra data as an Agilent Cary software (.BSW or .DSW) format and Excel data (.xls) format. SERS spectra data is given in Snowy Range Instrument software as Certificados PKCS #7 (.spc) format or Achivo DLL (.rmn) format and as excel data (.xls) format. The DLS raw spectra are available as an image file (.jpg and.png) and/or Excel data in (.xls) format. For example AuNPs\pH_4.54\SERS\0_min.spc Glycine Contains data of concentrations of glycine solutions (0.1, 1, 50 and 100 g/kgH2O) at different pH. The subdirectory structure is as follows: • YYgkg-1 o pH_XX - Raman The Raman directories have spectra for 0 min acquisition time (0 min) in Snowy Range Instrument software as Certificados PKCS #7 (.spc) format and as Excel data (.csv) format.
