Elemental geochemistry of Sarapuí River sediments (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil): WD-XRF dataset

This dataset contains measured concentrations of chemical elements in bottom-sediment samples collected from the Sarapuí River, a metropolitan urban river in the Rio de Janeiro Metropolitan Region (Brazil). We determined elemental concentrations by Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometry (WD-XRF). To assess analytical precision and accuracy, we analyzed a certified sediment reference material NIST SRM 2711a (Montana Soil) alongside the samples and compared measured values with certified concentrations.
