As the first real industrial data set for manufacturing quality inspection of electric vehicle reducer gears, The dynamic meshing transmission dataset (DMTD) solves the two major challenges that the existing single gear quality inspection method based on tooth surface waviness cannot quickly detect and cannot fully characterize the real performance. DMTD covers the dynamic meshing transmission data of five gear types (healthy gears, slight bump gears, leaky grinding gears, and two kinds of ghost order whine gears). In addition, a variety of uncertain factors (different machine tools, different batches, different design parameters, etc. ) in the processing process are introduced to avoid the influence of laboratory idealized conditions on signal characteristics.The sampling rate of all data is 12.8 kHz.The Pulses Per Revolution (PPR) of the speed pulse signal is 10.The ' Data.csv/Data.mat ' file contains vibration data and speed pulse data.The data directory hierarchy and content of DMTD
