Capital Metro Bus, Temperature, and Sociodemographic Data for Austin, Texas (2019)

Data were collected for a study, titled "Heat-moderating effects of bus
stop shelters and tree shade on public transport ridership." In this
study, authors determined whether bus stop shelters and tree canopy
surrounding bus stops moderated the effect of warm season temperatures
on ridership in Austin, Texas, and whether shelters and tree canopy were
equitably distributed. Data are for 2,271 bus stops of Capital
Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and span the 2019 warm season
(April 1st through September 30th). Data are either at the bus stop
level or day level. Data set includes all data used in the analysis.
