E-books market value in Italy 2011-2023

In 2023, the book market value in Italy amounted to over 1.8 billion euros. Whereas the vast majority of this value was generated by paper books (roughly 1.7 billion euros), e-books accounted for a value of approximately 81 million euros in that year. Despite the increasing value of the Italian book market, compared to the previous year, the value share of e-books increased by two percent.
