The dataset records the efforts of the European Economic and Social Committee (CESE) to promote fundamental rights and the rule of law, specifically concerning a delegations visit to Italy and meetings with representatives from various sectors, including civil society organizations, social partners, media, and legal professions. The dataset focuses on the outcomes of these meetings, particularly on five themes: fundamental rights related to social partners, freedom of association and assembly, freedom of expression and media, non-discrimination, and the rule of law. The dataset includes a report reflecting the views of civil society and the response from Italian authorities to this report.
