Mean DDA is the Renno et al. [1998] dust devil activity at the Curiosity Rover’s location, averaged over 90° of Ls for the given period, at the time of sol shown (LTST = local true solar time). <br><br>DDA is predicted using output from a MarsWRF simulation of the atmosphere over Gale Crater.<br>These data are used to produce Figures 9 and 11 in the paper “Convective vortex and dust devil predictions for Gale Crater over three Mars years and comparison with MSL-REMS observations” - JGR-Planets, 2019 - by C.
