Unraveling fungal virulence of a conifer pathogen Heterbasidion parviporum at both phenotypic and genomic level

This project is aimed to characterize fungal virulence and other related phenotypic traits i.e. saprotrophic wood decay, sporulation and vegetative growth in 15 H. parviporum isolates. The relevance of different traits were analysed. Genomic comparison was performed to uncover genetic variation at the intra-specific level and decipher their relationship with fungal virulence.
