Bridging the Gap Between Millions of Years and Milliseconds: Modeling Earthquake Sequences and Splay Fault Rupture in Subduction Zones [Dataset]

This repository contains model output data and python scripts to create all figures as well as input files and executables for "Bridging the Gap Between Millions of Years and Milliseconds: Modeling Earthquake Sequences and Splay Fault Rupture in Subduction Zones". Detailed description of data can be found in "README_data.txt" Post-processing / visualization scripts are compressed into "python_plotting_scripts.zip". They are named according to their associated figures. Scripts rely on the (included) stm_rsf_vis_module.py and the imported packages listed at the beginnings of each script. They expect the uncompressed data folder to be present as a subfolder of the one the scripts are located in. Executables and input files are provided for the reference model and the "weak prism" model. Further information can be found in "README_model.txt"
