qPCR analysis of Caco-2 cells pretreated with Tormentillae rhizoma ethanolic extract or its postbiotic metabolites and subsequently exposed to Clostridioides difficile toxins as a tight junction–disrupting factor. The expression levels of tight junction–related genes, including occludin, claudin-2, claudin-4, and zonula occludens-1 (ZO-1), were determined. Gene expression was normalized to reference genes (ACTB and TBP) using appropriate normalization methods.
