Venturia genus Population genome sequencing and assembly

Species from the Venturia genus are pathogenic on Rosaceae hosts, causing scab diseases. V. inaequalis is responsible for the main disease of apple trees, while V. asperata is an opportunistic pathogen of apple trees. V. pirina is pathogenic on pear and V. aucupariae is pathogenic on Sorbus. For each species, several isolates have been sequences. These genomic data will allow performing comparative analyses to address essential questions in plant pathology.
