mRNA sequences obtained from murine alveolar macrophages (AMs) isolated from young and aged mice, before and after cutaneous burn injury. This study aimed to evaluate changes in AMs due to healthy aging, and the differential responses to distal burn injury, in order to better understand the effects of aging and the responses of tissue resident immune cells to physiological stress.
