The propensity to make health-related claims seems to be on the rise in modern societies. Not all such claims are scientifically based, and in addition, the media has become an important public source of health information. This project aims to study how students of health sciences, their teachers, and newspaper journalists relate to health claims in society. Four separate studies were conducted during the period 2000-2006.
