Functional study of MIR196 family and their target genes (KAP230567)

Using the recently developed CRISPR/CAS9 technique, MIR196B, A1, and A2 are knocked out in colon cancer-related cell lines and compared and analyzed through RNA-seq with control cell lines. Based on this, we conduct functional studies between target mRNAs of each MIR196B, MIR196A1, and MIR196A2, provide the basis for making a knockout mouse for each MIR196s, and provide information for early diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of colorectal cancer.
