Diversity of root-associated bacterial populations of Tamarix parviflora cultivated under various environmental conditions

In our study, we aimed to describe the diversity of bacterial communities in the root zone of Tamarix parviflora plants using high-throughput sequencing and PLFA analysis and link them to various environmental conditions, such as type of soil the plant grows in (legacy contaminated low-nutrient versus nutrient-rich horticultural soil), high salt concentration or bioaugmentation with allochthonous bacteria.
