This series consists of a file containing working papers and copies of minutes and agenda from the Sydney Opera House Trust Public Relations Committee. The Public Relations Committee was established to consider and report to the Trust on all aspects of public relations relating to the opening period of the Sydney Opera House.The working papers include correspondence, financial papers, reports and submissions that relate to and support the items discussed at each meeting. Copies of minutes and agenda from the meetings accompany the working papers. The minutes give the date, time and place of the meeting, list who from the committee was present and outline the business arising for that meeting and document any decisions made by the committee.Issues regularly discussed by the committee include the organisation of displays, publicity material and advertising campaigns promoting the Opera House. The committee was also considered and reported to the Trust on tours for the public and the procurement of furniture and equipment for public areas of the House.
