Ocean Biodiversity Information System (OBIS) species distribution models

This dataset provides access to species distribution models (SDMs) for marine species, initially developed as part of the MPA Europe project (https://mpaeurope.eu/). SDMs are statistical models used to predict the potential geographic distribution of a species based on the relationship between observed species occurrence records and environmental predictors. The models were built using marine occurrence data from the Ocean Biodiversity Information System (OBIS) and the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF), together with environmental data from Bio-ORACLE v3.0 (Assis et al. 2024, DOI...本数据集提供海洋物种种分布模型（species distribution models, SDMs）的访问权限，其最初作为欧洲海洋保护区项目（MPA Europe）的一部分开发完成（项目网址：https://mpaeurope.eu/）。物种分布模型是一类统计模型，旨在基于物种观测出现记录与环境预测因子之间的关联关系，预测某一物种的潜在地理分布范围。本次建模所用的海洋物种出现数据源自海洋生物多样性信息系统（Ocean Biodiversity Information System, OBIS）与全球生物多样性信息设施（Global Biodiversity Information Facility, GBIF），同时结合了来自Bio-ORACLE v3.0的环境数据（Assis等，2024，DOI……）
