human Gut Microbial Biobank (hGMB)

hGMB is an open-access human gut microbial repository established by cultivating isolates obtained from fecal samples of healthy Chinese volunteers. This repository comprises 1,170 isolates, representing 400 distinct species distributed across 159 genera, 53 families, and 6 phyla. It is permanently preserved and globally shared at the International Depositary Authority (IDA), namely the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center (CGMCC).
