NRS-16058 | Minutes of the Egg Corporation Meetings

This series constitutes a record of the meetings of the NSW Egg Corporation that were held approximately monthly. The minutes record the resolutions taken at the meeting. For some meetings notes containing more details relating to the resolutions were maintained separately from the minutes. When there are no separate ‘notes’ all of the detail is included in the minutes. The correspondence discussed at the meetings is also included in the series. The subjects discussed at the meetings include Corporation policies, management, and structure; quality, production, marketing, and packaging of eggs; the hen quota system; and staffing matters. The Board also executed contracts or other legal instruments and received financial statements. Correspondence considered at Board level included that from Ministers or government agencies, egg producers and other stake holders. The minutes are fastened into a bundle for each meeting. Notes (when present) are fastened separately as is the correspondence. There will therefore sometimes be three bundles that document a given meeting.
