Description This dataset contains genome-wide association study (GWAS) summary statistics for vestibular function phenotypes measured in the Hybrid Mouse Diversity Panel (HMDP), a collection of recombinant inbred and classical inbred mouse strains. Vestibular function was assessed using vestibular sensory evoked potentials (VsEPs) and a balance beam assay. GWAS analyses were performed using linear mixed models implemented in FaST-LMM, accounting for population structure.The dataset includes summary statistics for the following phenotypes:Young cohort (6-week-old female mice):VsEP thresholdVsEP P1–N1 amplitudeBalance beam traversal timeAged cohort (22 ± 2.5 months):VsEP threshold (male mice)VsEP threshold (female mice)Each file contains SNP-level association results derived from genotypes obtained using the Mouse Diversity Array. SNPs were filtered based on minor allele frequency (≥5%) and missingness (≤10%) prior to analysis. Association testing was performed using FaST-LMM, with a leave-one-chromosome-out (LOCO) approach for kinship matrix construction. GWAS was conducted using approximately 100,000–160,000 SNPs per phenotype after quality control filtering.
