Chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing data of Cyanidiococcus yangmingshanensis

Cyanidiococcus yangmingshanensis is the unicellular red alga that inhabits thermo-acidic environments. Cc. yangmingshanensis exhibits a sexual life cycle, alternating between a cell-walled diploid and a cell wall-less haploid, with both phases capable of proliferating asexually. To examine whether H3K27me3 is involved in phenotypic changes between the haploid and diploid phases of Cc. yangmingshanensis, we compared its genome-wide distribution using chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-seq).
