Next generation sequencing analysis of fetal brown adipose tissue in response to maternal fish oil intake

We report the impact of maternal fish oil intake during gestation and lactation on the fetal brown fat development and metabolic health in later life Overall design: Mothers were fed either Control or Fish oil-containing diet during pregancy and lactation in C57BL/6 mice. Fetus were collected at 3 different timelines below Fetus brown fat (BAT) collected born in mothers with either control diet (FC) or fish oil diet (FF) Weaned brown fat samples collected born in mothers fed with with either control diet (WC) or fish oil diet (WF) After weaning pups have received either control (AC) and fish oil (AF) diet were fed for high fat for 8 weeks.
