This dataset comprises texts collected from three subreddits on Reddit: "regret", "regretfulparents", and "confession". The texts are classified into three categories: regret due to active actions, regret due to inaction, and no regret. It also includes posts expressing regret across various domains including education, health, occupational finance, and romantic relationships. After filtering, the dataset contains 3440 posts, and its core task is to detect regret emotions and identify the corresponding domains from the texts.
