Resource Consents (Current)
收藏资源简介:
This item displays details and locations of current consents within the Taranaki Region. A resource consent is permission from the local council for an activity that might affect the environment and isn’t allowed ‘as of right’ in the district or regional plan. Each day, people apply to their local council for resource consents to do things such as building a garage, subdividing property, constructing a multi-storey apartment block, or taking water from a stream (Credit: Ministry for the Environment, New Zealand). The layers pertain to effective current resource consents issued by Taranaki Regional Council under the New Zealand Resource Management Act for specific activities. This portal or dataset excludes expired, surrendered, or superseded consents. It includes Consent Number, Activity Type, Primary Industry Purpose, Expiry Date, Status, etc. The consents are categorized into Coastal Permits, Discharge Permits, Land Use, and Water Permits. It is a group feature layer used in Web Maps within Local Maps, covering the Taranaki Region. The Taranaki Regional Council's Consent Team manages the data records. Publication and distribution have been managed by TRC since March 29, 2017. The item was created by the TRC GIS Team and is regularly updated through an automated process (check the item's updated date on ArcGIS Online). Identifier: e24510fa5aae4c4dbd91e9b8cad10e7a
