Additionally, this dataset can be reused by urban planning authorities to provide data backing for site selection and berth configuration of new parking lots, thereby effectively promoting the rational distribution of urban parking resources. Basic data is collected via the parking lot's entrance and exit monitoring systems, license plate recognition devices, or QR code scanning systems. The system records the entry and exit times of each vehicle, based on which the parking duration is calculated.
