This register contains a summary record of land sales by selection after auction in the Land District of Narrandera, kept by the Narrandera Lands Office.Crown lands that could be sold at public auction included: conditionally purchased lands that had been deemed to have been abandoned; land that had no conditions for residence or improvement; land that had had no improvements done; and land put up for sale at auction that did not sell. Land that did not sell at auction could then be available for selection at a later date.The register records information such as: the date, particulars of disbursement, treasury receipt number, cash book folio, proceeds of sale, deed fee, total costs and particulars of disbursements.This register also includes records for: Land Sales by Auction; Conditional Land Sales; Leases; Timber Licences and Licences to Quarry Stone; Miscellaneous Accounts of Land Agent; Parchment Forms, Registration Fees and Stamp Duties; and Contingent Receipts.
