The data in this accession was collected in Sea of Japan from USS CURTS between September 3, 1988 and September 30, 1988. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts. These stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and is present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.
