To identify the splicing junctions in Borna disease virus nucleoprotein transcripts, amplicon sequencing was performed. Total RNA was extracted from persistently Borna disease virus-infected 293T and oligodendroglioma, and acutely Borna disease virus-infected OL cells. For acutely infected sample, oligodendroglioma cells of 4, 8, 12, 24, 48 hours post infection were collected. Transcript of nucleoprotein was amplified by RT-PCR.
