Complex_breeding_phenological_shifts_of_Neotropical_birds_across_space_and_time
收藏资源简介:
The dataset supporting this study contains 1,310 clutch records of four Neotropical bird species (Pitangus sulphuratus, Zonotrichia capensis, Tyrannus savana, and Troglodytes aedon) spanning 1902–2020 across latitudes 32°N–54°S. Data were compiled from physical examination of egg collections held in natural history museums, with each record linked to its source institution via museum acronym and catalogue number. For each record, the dataset includes specimen metadata (project number, museum acronym, catalogue number, species), collection date (day, month, year), geographic coordinates (latitude, longitude), and phenological response variables (Julian date and days elapsed since local winter solstice). Climatic variables (precipitation and temperature seasonality, minimum, maximum, and range values at monthly and annual scales) were extracted from the CEDA (Centre for Environmental Data Analysis) archive and are publicly accessible at www.ceda.ac.uk.
