资源简介:
Photograph of a view of a statue depicting the Governor Felipe de Neve, in Los Angeles Plaza, April, 1932. A thin, metal fence stands in the foreground with the statue just beyond it. A stone base encircles a dark platform which supports the jagged rock that displays the statue of Governor Felipe de Neve at its top. The Governor wears spurs at the back of his thigh-high boots. His hands are protected by thick gloves as his right lays at his side and his left holds his hat against his vest. A cape is draped over his back as he gazes into the foreground. On the right side of his rock pedestal one can read the small plaque of the monument. Many men in suits relax on the benches which fill the shaded park in the background. Photo sleeve reads "Statue in plaza. Felipe de Neve founded El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Riena de Los Angeles, 1781 (The Village of Our Lady, the Queen of Angels)".
