Genome assemblies for Paramecium tritobursaria CCAP 1660/21 and P. duboscqui PD1 are presented, alongside gene model annotations and CDS/protein data inferred from these models. Following an experiment where three ciliate species hosting algal symbionts (Paramecium tritobursaria CCAP 1660/21, P. deuterobursaria CCAP 1660/18, and T. utriculariae CCAP 1630/23) were subjected to high and low light conditions, we collected phenotyping data for cell growth and chlorophyll autofluorescence using an ImageXpress Micro 4 High-Content Imaging System. We also collected flow cytometer data of 100 uL volumes of these samples to calculate the number of intracellular algal symbionts per ciliate cell.
