资源简介:
Apical dominance is a well-known phenomenon in which the growth of axillary buds is suppressed in the presence of the apical bud. The removal of the apical bud triggered the outgrowth of axillary buds in Ginkgo biloba. Because SLs are involved in the suppression of axillary buds in the presence of the apical bud, it was indicated that SLs might function as plant hormones to inhibit shoot branching in G. biloba. To further pursue the possibility that SLs function as plant hormones in gymnosperms, we performed transcriptome analysis comparing SLs, or mock-treated Day 14 axillary buds in addition to Day 0 axillary buds by RNA-seq using MGISEQ-2000 platform.
