This dataset provides annual average streamflow data from 1495 to 2018, reconstructed using tree-ring chronologies for the Khorog Hydrological Station on the Gunt River, a tributary of the upper Amu Darya River.
This dataset was developed through a collaborative dendrohydrological research project between the Institute of Desert Meteorology, China Meteorological Administration, Urumqi and the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology, Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. The data can be used for scientific research including water resource assessment in Central Asian mountainous regions, as well as services for water conservancy engineering.
