Salinity stress has both immediate and long-term effects on the growth, in order to model the dynamics of the transcriptome response upon salt imposition we conducted a time-series analysis of the rice transcriptome. The data set is used in mutliple analysis including inferring the global regulatory network for a rice adaptive response and aiding the analysis of boundaries of actively transcribed sequences enriched for sequence conservation signatures in conserved topologically associating domains (TADs). RNA-seq profiling of a salinity susceptible rice variety Azucena by subjecting the seedlings to salt stress (10mM NaCl). A corresponding seedling subset was concurrently grown with no salt stress (0mM NaCl), as control. Time-series samples were collected at 0mins, 60mins, 180mins, 240mins and 5days time-points based on the start of salt-imposition.
