The dataset in the excel spreadsheet depicts the raw data for the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) balance measures in the eyes open condition in the first tab, and MoCA scores, age and TUG test in the second tab, recorded in a single laboratory session over a 2-hour period. The balance measures lasted for approximately 45-min, whilst the MoCA lasted for approximately 10-min and the TUG test lasted for less than 30 s. For the balance measurements, data for each frequency band is contained in 24 columns (e.g., columns A-X for Moderate DWT) separated in 12 columns with three columns for three trials under each foot position (e.g., columns A-C for 30 cm between feet stance with trails 1, 2 and 3 under columns A, B and C). MoCA scores are in column CS, ages in columns CT and TUG mean times in column CU. The equipment and software used to measure and collect the data for the variables listed in the spreadsheet are listed in the word document with all abbreviations reported in full. The files for this dataset will be shared on publication of the associated article.
