Riverine Fluxes towards the Black Sea under Climate Change

This dataset provides simulated river fluxes towards the Black Sea for a reference period and for a future period under climate change. The data have been generated by the Black Sea Catchment model developed by Deltares in the EU project DOORS. Daily data are provided for 30-year periods. The reference period is 1986-2015. Future periods are 20170-2100, using climate forcing derived by using change factors obtained from the CNRM-CM6-1-HR global climate model. Two IPCC AR6 scenarios are provided: SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5. Variables included are water flow, temperature and concentrations of nutrient species and fine sediments. Data are provided for 13 larger rivers. A secondary dataset provides water flow only for the Danube River only, using change factors obtained from four different global climate models, including CNRM-CM6-1-HR.
