Whole genome analyses of CMY-2-producing Escherichia coli isolates from human, animal, and food in Germany reveals a ST131 clonal lineage distinct from the CTX-M-15-producing ST131-O25b cluster

Here we provide whole genome sequence data of 164 E. coli isolates from human, livestock animal, and meat product origin. All isolates were collected in Germany and sequenced on an Illumina MiSeq instrument.
